The Journey Begins

My name is Catrina.  I was recently diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder.  I am married and my husband was the one who got me to go see a doctor because I had rapid mood swings and depression.  I finally went 2 years ago. I have tried different medication until I finally got the one that works best for me.  That was a long road!  Not being diagnosed sooner (as I am 37 now)  made things worse. For my romantic relationship , friendships and work.  I have a really supportive husband we have been married 16yrs. But I feel I have been a burden to him.
